How to see who unfollowed you on TikTok
Your follower count dropped, but TikTok doesn’t say who left. There’s no unfollow notification and no “doesn’t follow back” filter. Here are two free methods, from the quickest to the most complete, without giving your password to anyone.
Method 1: the quick check in the app
On your profile, open your Following list. Next to each account, the button shows Friends when you follow each other, and Following when the follow only goes one way. Every “Following” is an account that doesn’t follow you back.
It works for a few dozen accounts. Beyond that, scrolling becomes endless, and you can’t see when someone left.
Method 2: TikTok’s official data export (complete)
TikTok lets you download your data, including the full list of your followers and of the accounts you follow, with dates.
- Open your profile, then the ☰ menu and Settings and privacy.
- Tap Account, then Download your data.
- Choose All, the JSON format (TXT also works), then Request data.
- When the file is ready, download it from the Download data tab. It stays there for a few days only.
Then drop the file into FollowersChecker. It is read in your browser, never uploaded, and you instantly see who doesn’t follow you back, your fans and your mutuals, plus your watch time, logins and the sites sending your activity to TikTok.
Try it now: drop your export and see instantly who doesn’t follow you back. Free, no password.
Check my accountSee exactly who unfollowed you
An export is a snapshot at one date. To know who unfollowed you, request a new export a few weeks later: FollowersChecker remembers your last analysis (in your browser only) and shows who left in the meantime. You can also compare two export files directly.
Avoid “unfollower” apps
Apps that ask for your TikTok login put your account at risk, and many break TikTok’s rules by using bots. The data export is the only method that is official, free and works even with a private account.
